It is Toronto’s first urban skate plaza, based on real-life street structures. The street-style skateboard park is approximately 6,500 square metres (70,000 square feet) and suitable for all levels and abilities. The park incorporates elements such as a floating manual dish, concrete recliner, kinked steep bank and Daewon Song style pad. The park also includes a high degree of architectural detailing, such as planting areas, among the skateboarding elements.

There will be drop off boxes at the La Sportiva Tent at all 3 events, and at Rock/Creek (2 North Shore) location
All log books must be dropped off or mailed to La Sportiva no later than December 15th, 2009, in order to qualify for the contest.

WHAT IS THE TRIPLE CROWN?

Triple Crown is a series of bouldering events at three of the premier boulderfields in the Southeast. The series kicks off in the fall beginning with Hound Ears in Boone, NC, moves on to Horse Pens-40 in Steele, AL, and then concludes at the Stone Fort in Chattanooga, TN. The dates for each event are set for
October 3 — Hound Ears,
November 7 — Horse Pens 40,
and December 5 — the Stone Fort.

You can register for the event as a series or for any of the individual comps. See the registration page for detailed information. Register as early as possible, space is limited and this event fills up FAST!

Popular features of Yosemite Valley are El Capitan and Half Dome.

El Capitan is a 3,000-foot (910 m) vertical rock formation. The granite monolith is one of the world’s favorite challenges for rock climbers.

Half Dome is a granite dome that rises more than 4,737 ft (1,444 m) above the valley floor.

The Half Dome has a hike route from the valley floor to the top of the dome in 8.2 mi (13 km) (via the Mist Trail), with 4,800 ft (1,460 m) of elevation gain. The final 400 ft (120 m) ascent is steeply up the rock between two steel cables used as handholds. The cables are fixed with bolts in the rock and raised onto a series of metal poles.

The PD Factory Team is comprised of five, highly-skilled, aerial athletes. The team’s vast experience in all aspects of modern skydiving gives it the skill and knowledge to customize each exhibition to fit the clients’ needs.

Each pilot of the PD Factory Team is a champion. With over 35,000 jumps collectively, this team has dominated the competition circuit (domestically and internationally) for the last three years, accumulating three world championship victories and multiple world records along the way.

Additionally, each PD Factory Team pilot is a specialist in his own right, having excelled in all skydiving disciplines: Freefall Formations, Canopy Formations, High-Speed Freefall Acrobatics, Aerial Cinematography, Wing Suit Flight, Fixed-Object Jumping (BASE), and High-Performance Canopy Flight.

From freefall maneuvers to aerial canopy formations to high-speed, breathtaking landings, this team will deliver a show like no other in the world.

Canada’s Coastal Mountains rise far above the world’s largest intact temperate rainforests that hug Pacific Ocean inlets. Where the sea meets the sky, glacier clad mountains are blanketed in 80 feet of winter snow. While the killer whales and sea lions play in the deep protected waters below, skier rides in the deep powder snow of the Bella Coola mountains.
